Service terms
Plain-language terms for the TD Data Systems API services.
1. Intended use
The APIs are intended for developer and business document-processing workflows.
2. Automated output
Results are produced automatically. OCR, extraction and matching results may contain errors, omissions or ambiguous interpretations.
3. Customer validation
Customers are responsible for deciding whether API output is suitable for their workflow and for applying appropriate validation and approval controls before consequential financial, accounting, tax, procurement or payment actions.
4. No payment instruction
A MATCH result or successful extraction is not an instruction or authorisation to make a payment or approve an invoice.
5. Availability
Unless a marketplace plan expressly states otherwise, no specific uninterrupted-availability guarantee is provided.
6. Marketplace terms
Subscriptions, billing, quotas and marketplace account matters may also be governed by the marketplace through which the service was purchased.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Users should not rely on unverified automated output where an error could cause material financial or operational loss.
8. Changes
API functionality and these terms may be updated as the service develops. Material changes should not silently alter an existing published API contract.
